Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-risk obstetrical ultrasound
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality obstetrical ultrasound examinations for high-risk patients
- Ensure the proper functionality and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss findings and determine next steps
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Document and maintain accurate patient records
- Stay current with ultrasound techniques and participate in ongoing education opportunities
