Clinical Programmer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and review of complex dashboards and reports for medical and safety data review using data analytics and visualization software.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to quality and detail and the ability to detect data anomalies.
- Learn and apply medical and scientific knowledge from a range of scientific visualization needs.
- Interact with internal partners utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Engage with Statistics, Statistical Programming, Data Management, and IT to gain access and working knowledge of data stores/lakes and key datasets.
- Monitor data refresh automations and escalate process issues to responsible parties such as IT and/or Statistical Programming.
- Maintain and improve existing SPOTFIRE and/or other data analytics dashboard solutions in compliance with industry data access and quality principles.
- Assess impact of database migrations to existing SPOTFIRE and/or other data analytics dashboard solutions through review of materials such as database change logs, UAT dataset extraction(s), and test transfer(s).
- Develop new reports and tools in SPOTFIRE and/or other data visualization platforms.
- Manage and implement data requirements for SPOTFIRE and/or other data visualization platforms.
- Deliver high quality SPOTFIRE and/or other data visualization platform reports for medical and safety review and informational updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Epidemiology, Statistics, or health services related field.
- 2+ years of experience with SPOTFIRE (Analyst license) in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. SPOTFIRE is a must have for this role.
- Beginner or higher-level skills in IronPython, Java, and/or R programming.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
