Accounting Associate - Robert Half

We are in the search for an Accounting Associate to join our team located in Berlin, Connecticut. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the Accounting industry. As an Accounting Associate, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including budgeting, auditing, and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Engages in Audit Activities to ensure proper accounting practices and compliance
• Conducts Budgeting activities to manage and allocate resources effectively
• Handles Expense Accounts to monitor and control business expenses
• Manages Fringe Benefits and ensures they are properly accounted for
• Performs Reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate
• Manages Ledger Accounting to keep track of company transactions
• Prepares Reporting Packages to communicate financial information
• Oversees Cost Centers to manage and control departmental expenses
• Processes Journal Entries to record financial transactions.
• Proficiency in Audit Activities is a must.
• Experience with Budgeting is required.
• Understanding of Cost Centers is necessary.
• Familiarity with Expense Account management is desired.
• Knowledge of Fringe Benefits is needed.
• Must be skilled in Journal Entry procedures.
• Experience in Ledger Accounting is essential.
• Proficiency in Reconciliations is required.
• Familiarity with Reporting Packages is necessary.
