About the jobJob DescriptionPosition Summary:Responsible for start-up, servicing and repairing JWCE equipment at Customers sites. Analyzes, troubleshoots and reviews findings to determine source of problem(s) and/ or corrective action needed.

Coordinates with engineering, customer service and other teams to expedite repairs. This position requires high level of Customer Interface, including Training of job site personnel in the proper Operating & Maintenance of the equipment.Principle Duties And ResponsibilitiesTravel-Road Warrior up to (80%) to U.S. & Canada sitesAssists customers on the phone and in the field with troubleshooting of JWCE equipment.Recommends and interprets service & warranties programs to customers on the phone and in the field.Performs on-site start-ups to insure equipment is installed correctly and is set up properly for conditions.Responsible for on-site training of customer personnel to JWCE Technology standards on proper operation of their equipmentRead and review blueprints, plans, specifications and other documentation to prepare for startup or servicePerforms electrical testing and repair of equipment according to drawings and procedures, both in the field and at the service center.Analyzes equipment failure and recommends corrective or preventative actions on the phone and in the field.Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained.Prepares reports on service calls and equipment problems/concerns to management as required (trip reports).Escalates technical issues to management as needed.Provides equipment feedback/customer suggestion to management.Supports team work by assisting in the office as needed.Adheres to safety policies and use of safety equipment.Adhere to the JWC Corporate credit card and travel standard operating procedures.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.RequiredEducation, Experience, & Skills:High School diploma or equivalent.

3+ years experience in Mechanical Maintenance.Desirable3~5 years Wastewater Field Service Experience. Experience in providing customers with on site evaluation, inspection, training and repair of mechanical equipment. Welding experience a plus3-5 years experience in field service including performing repairs of customer equipment on site.Travel as required to fulfill customer requirements and Service Tech Schedules up to 100% at times.Ability to work remotely and independently with little to no supervisionTechnical troubleshooting with effective diagnostic and repair experience.Strong communication and presentation skills along with a commitment to customer service and excellence.Ability to work under pressure situations and work with customers to resolve their concerns.Ability to access and troubleshoot issues that arise while on jobsites and make sound decisions independently that are in the best interest of JWCEAbility to read and work from blueprints and schematic drawings.Knowledge of hand tools and electronic test equipment.Knowledge of electrical safety.Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)Highly self-motivated and a self-starter.Flexible, reliable, strong work ethic, dependable team player, positive, constructive attitude.Outstanding business etiquette skills.Knowledge of products and technologies.Attention to detail.JWCE is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits401(k) matchingDental InsuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule8-hour shiftOvertimeEducationHigh school or equivalent (Required)ExperienceCustomer service: 5 years (Required)Maintenance: 5 years (Required)Day Shift (Preferred)Shift availability:Work Location: On the road
