The London Division of Police serves a population of over 10,000 and covers an area of 9 square miles. The department is staffed with 21 sworn officers. The city is seeking individuals with the character and professional skills necessary for this public service role.

Application Process:
Entry-level applicants (those not employed full-time as peace officers in Ohio) must complete a written test through the National Testing Network (NTN). To apply and schedule the test, visit the NTN website and select "Law Enforcement" to sign up for the London Police Department.
Lateral applicants (those currently employed full-time as peace officers in Ohio) are not required to take the NTN test. They must complete other stages of the hiring process, and prior service will be considered when determining starting pay and leave benefits.
All applicants must submit a City of London employment application, available online or at the City Administration Office. Completed applications can be submitted via personal delivery, mail, email, or online to the Administration Office.
Score Adjustments:Applicants who pass the entry-level exam with a raw score of 70% or higher may be eligible for additional credit:
Veteran's Credit: 20% additional credit for Ohio residents honorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces. A copy of DD214 (including block 24) must be submitted with the application.Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Driver's License: Valid Ohio drivers license required
