The Director, Enterprise Applications provides strategic and operations leadership in the planning, design and Implementation of the company’s ERP, WMS/TMS, EDI, and CRM applications (included but not limited to). The Director works closely with other IT and business management to plan and execute IT plans as well as the relevant application portfolio and roadmap.The Director is responsible for the overall day to day operations and quality of supported applications.
The Director provides systems support and conducts analysis to leverage technology solutions to meet business needs. This role maintains and supports the organization’s portfolio of enterprise business applications, specifically focusing on IBMi/AS400 ERP Infor XA.Extensive knowledge of Infor XA is a hard requirement. This position requires onsite presence and is not a remote role. The specialist keeps the applications current by implementing new features, performing system upgrades, and managing updates related to finance, chart of accounts, and other critical business functions.
The Enterprise ERP Systems Specialist will be the technical and process subject matter expert for the organization’s enterprise business application systems running on Infor XA.
The Enterprise Applications Director, provides ‘Customer Focused’ services to the enterprise as a whole. The Director will strive to constantly improve the personnel and processes used within the department and the quality of the services provided. Customer Focused means:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relevant application roadmap
- Direct project plans and priorities and ensures projects are completed on time and within
- Develops and implements departmental standards and procedures
- Provides senior technical/tactical (hands-on) leadership to IT and the organization as a
- Assists with planning and budgeting activities
- Communicates with all levels of the organization in a professional and courteous manner
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and a positive attitude in motivating other project
- Ensures compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal requirements
- Manage change management for ongoing support of existing applications
- Learn the full suite of enterprise business applications, including understanding their
interrelationship and dependencies. Work with vendors to maintain and support these
applications, perform upgrades, and implement new features as released.- Perform top-level troubleshooting of technical issues related to application functionality.
Track and follow issues through to resolution, including communications to all
stakeholders.- Identify and consider both the business and the technical needs of customers with the
goal of providing quality solutions that meet user needs. Configure, execute, test, and
implement the solution.- Develop documentation related to design, configuration, processes/workflow,
- Develop and maintain troubleshooting and solution process and procedure
- Manage small application projects of simple to moderate complexity.
- Review open support tickets, establish priority, assign resources, and manage through
- Provide internal support utilizing Infor XA (XA) as the main ERP. Including green screen
modules as well as Powerlink. This position will complement our 3rd party Infor partner
and will assist with XA systems analysis, XA upgrade, implementation, process
development and testing, project management, and training services.- Conduct business and systems analysis resulting in defined business processes to meet
manufacturing and finance requirements through effective and efficient application of the
XA system.- Evaluate current and planned XA features and capabilities and effectively apply them to
- Monitor XA database integrity and process disciplines to assure timely and accurate
- Coordinate process and system test and validation efforts.
- Manage updates related to finance, chart of accounts, and other critical business
- Contribute to the development of the business unit’s strategy, plans, and priorities by
applications, and trends
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related business field with suitable work experience.
- More than 10 years of ERP experience (i.e., Oracle JDE, SAP, etc.)
- More than 5 years of WMS experience (i.e., Manhattan, JDA, etc.)
- More than 5 years of IBM iSeries / AS400
- More than 5 years of EDI experience (i.e., working with OpenText TLi)
- Must have strong experience in ERP/WMS application architecture, design, and implementing / upgrading systems
- Must have demonstrated hands-on project leadership skills
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all management levels.
- Excellent organization skills
- Able to work independently and a team environment with little supervision
- Working knowledge of application development methods and techniques
- Proficient in project management and office productivity products
- Strong business model knowledge for distribution, wholesale distribution, and eCommerce
- Strong supplier/partner management experience
- SQL, Java, .NET, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- IBM iSeries/AS400
This is a hybrid role and will require the candidate to work onsite in the Farmingdale, Long Island Headquarters office three days a week.

The base salary range for this role would be commensurate with experience: $175-185k per year. Eligible for bonus.
