Responsibilities

As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in managing product assortments, inventory planning, and sales strategies across retail and e-commerce channels in the US and Canada. This role requires analytical skills, leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum sales and margin performance.

• strong knowledge/experience in retail math (calculate figures and amounts)
• Ability to lead, coach and develop direct reports to hit milestones, maximize performance, and achieve professional goals
• Experience: 7+ years in a buying or merchandising role, preferably in Direct-to-Consumer environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP/Business Objects is a MUST.
• strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Leadership capabilities to manage and coach team members.
• Develop and implement assortment strategies for retail and eCommerce channels to meet sales, margin, and turnover goals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams that include planning, allocation, visual merchandising, and supply planning.
• Evaluate and react to sales performance to improve buying strategies.
• Manage markdown strategies to maximize margin potential.
• Supervise Associate and Assistant Buyers to ensure timely project deliverables.
