Sr Manager, Procurement

Overview:

Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and

supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use as a generalist or in a combination of Purchasing Disciplines.

Major Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing.
  • Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Collaborates with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.
  • Implements processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands.
  • Oversees auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations.
  • Leads and manages the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education: Associate's Degree or Equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience
Prefrred Eduaction: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: business, Supply Chain Management or related degree

Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 7-8 years experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Leadership skills. Decision-making skills. Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking skills. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.

Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay Range (USD): $100,100.00 - $185,900.00

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.

Additional Compensation: Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
