Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Atlanta, Georgia. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic environment where you will handle various accounting functions, utilize different accounting software systems, and manage accounts payable tasks.

• Handle the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting functions.
• Execute account coding as part of the job function.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and report generation.
• Manage expense reports and ensure they are accurately recorded.
• Maintain vendor files and make updates as necessary.
• Use the Yardi software for various property management tasks.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience in Account Coding
• Familiarity with accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in maintaining vendor files
• Ability to prepare and analyze expense reports
• Knowledge of Yardi software is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be advantageous.
