IT Manager - Robert Half

This role is particularly suited for individuals well-versed in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Active Directory, and other relevant skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team's travel schedules and logistics to ensure efficient team operations.
• Manage project assignments, effectively distributing tasks and tracking progress.
• Oversee budget management, ensuring resources are optimally utilized.
• Handle customer escalations related to hardware issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution.
• Provide prompt and efficient technical support to customers regarding all hardware and software-related inquiries.
• Address hardware malfunctions, network issues, software bugs, system errors, and other technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Create and manage service tickets for all customer interactions, keeping track of case status and outcomes.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and any relevant information to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve future support processes.
• Utilize expertise and knowledge of equipment and software to identify and resolve hardware-related problems.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics to determine the root cause of issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Perform hardware repairs and maintenance tasks as required, including replacing faulty components and upgrading hardware.
• Provide basic setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance training to users.
• Communicate effectively with customers or internal contacts to ensure that the solution and root cause are fully understood.
• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT managerial role
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required
• Must have hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies
• Proficiency in Active Directory and Backup Technologies is essential
• Experience with Computer Hardware and Configuration Management is necessary
• Knowledge of Desktop Hardware is required
• Must have experience in Hardware & Software Installation
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
• Relevant industry certifications are desirable.
