Accounting Manager

You'll be expected to analyze account activity and balances, review contracts for compliance, and implement process improvements within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of accountants
• Ensure the completion of assignments within set timelines
• Conduct detailed analysis and provide explanations for revenue, expense and balance sheet accounts
• Manage the Fixed Asset system including capitalization policies, depreciation calculations and analytics
• Handle all Debt payments, accruals, lender reporting, and document compliance
• Oversee utilities including accruals, payments, and analytics
• Review and ensure compliance in reporting and payment obligations in agreements and contracts
• Manage and reconcile intercompany balances
• Utilize various software including Workday ERP, Utility websites, Serengeti, Sales Force and MRI property management to prepare and analyze financial statements, transactions, and account activity
• Develop and document accounting procedures, policies, and controls
• Assist with internal or external audits as assigned
• Evaluate and implement process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Concur
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Proficiency in General Ledger management
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
