Assistant Controller

You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for financial processes
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Oversee billing functions and ensure they are carried out effectively
• Implement cost accounting and manufacturing cost accounting procedures
• Utilize your skills in Concur, Crystal Reports, and DCAA to enhance accounting functions • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Assistant Controller or in a related field
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Knowledge of Concur, Crystal Reports and DCAA is essential
• Familiarity with accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Must have experience in auditing and billing functions
• Expertise in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting and Standard Cost Accounting is necessary
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
