Patient Service Representative

Robert Half is partnering with a client to fill a contract-to-hire Patient Service Representative position in Chilton, WI. Responsibilities:

• Greet and support patients in person, via phone, or electronically in a courteous and professional manner.
• Accurately schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using the Epic system.
• Verify and record patient information, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries regarding insurance, billing, or scheduling.
• Process payments, create receipts, and manage patient account information.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate seamless patient service and communication.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records in accordance with internal policies.
• Epic system experience
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role, especially in a front office or administrative capacity, is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking ability with attention to accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
