Accounts Payable Clerk - Robert Half

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk to manage the processing of our company's bills on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, completing payments, and controlling expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling all the invoices.
Responsibilities: Review and verify invoices and check requests. Sort, code, and match invoices for set invoices up for payment. Enter and upload invoices into the system. Track expenses and process expense reports. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data. Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Produce monthly reports. Assist with month-end closing. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
