Instructional Designer

Robert Half is seeking a dynamic and creative Instructional Designer. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing and implementing high-quality instructional material for our clients. This role requires innovative thinking, collaborative problem-solving and attention to detail to create engaging training modules.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify target audience's training needs.
2. Design and develop engaging instructional materials and courses that is reflective of our clients' needs and commercial objectives.
3. Utilize instructional design theories, practice and methods to create learning activities and compelling course content.
4. Develop assessment methodologies to measure learner performance.
5. Prepare materials for instructor-led, online/digital and blended learning environments.
6. Create supportive material/media (audio, video, simulations, animations, etc.).
7. Maintain project documentation and course folders to ensure courses adhere to technology and quality standards.
8. Review, test and provide final approval of all integrated systems.
9. Keep up-to-date with latest instructional technology and design trends.

Job Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or similar field.
2. Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
3. Excellent knowledge of learning models, and the ability to convert them into instructional design.
4. Proficiency in e-learning platforms, authoring tools and Learning Management Systems
5. Visual design skills (Graphic design software skills, such as Photoshop, Illustrator etc. would be a plus).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
8. Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
