Bookkeeper - Indianapolis

We are searching for a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial tasks such as auditing payroll hours, managing accounts payable and receivable, and handling invoicing. This role is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

• Oversee the auditing process for payroll hours to ensure accuracy
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to keep track of all financial transactions
• Handle invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing
• Order office supplies as needed to maintain an efficient workplace
• Conduct light administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the team
• Prepare information from various accounting tasks to put into reports
• Perform data entry into software such as Sage/Peachtree and Microsoft Excel
• Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial information is accurate
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Payroll, and Sage Accounting Software to perform duties effectively. • Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
• Experience in handling Payroll
• Knowledge of Sage Accounting Software
