Here's what you'd do:-The client seeks an IT Systems Engineer to manage enterprise-grade storage and server environments within our Mission Networks portfolio. -
This role is vital in maintaining system performance and reliability for high-availability lab/production environments.-
Maintain and optimize enterprise-grade storage solutions, focusing on NetApp, and manage robust server infrastructures using VMware coupled with Cisco UCS-X and Dell servers.-
Monitor storage and server performance to ensure optimal operation and system resilience.-
Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.-
Utilize Network Management Systems (NMS) like Zabbix and Grafana for system monitoring.-
Perform capacity planning for storage and server resources to meet future scalability needs.-
Develop Python scripts and utilize APIs for system automation and integration, improving operational efficiency.-
Support the administration of Linux and Windows systems.
