Job Description

The Responsibilities of the Project Manager - Life-Science Construction - Boston and Greater Boston
  • Role Focus: Manage lab and life science projects with an emphasis on process piping, plumbing, and heavy mechanical (minimal electrical).
  • Project Scope: Oversee multiple projects valued at $200,000-$1M, with total project sizes ranging from $200K to $2M.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage 2-5 projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct site visits, collaborate with Site Superintendents, and oversee schedules and materials.
  • Report directly to Bob Lord, Director of Operations.
  • Utilize Procore and Bluebeam to manage projects effectively.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager - Life-Science Construction - Boston and Greater Boston
  • Experience: 5+ years in project management or field management, ideally with lab, life science, and MEP-heavy projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in mechanical and plumbing systems preferred.
  • Location: Work primarily in Cambridge and the Greater Boston area. You can sit in the office or work from the site.
