Team Submarine’s Submarine Program Offices are responsible for:The acquisition of the OHIO Class replacement and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) of the COLUMBIA Class.
The program is a major defense acquisition program and is of significant political importance with Congress and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
The acquisition of New Construction Submarines and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E), and Fleet introduction of the U.S. Navy’s newest class of nuclear attack submarines.The program is a major defense acquisition program with a total life cycle cost of approximately $336B. Additionally, successful improvement of the Class' capabilities is of significant political importance with Congress and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
The SSN(X) Office (PMS 351) is responsible for the acquisition and design of the future fast attack submarine and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) of the future submarine.The future Attack Submarine will be designed to retain multi-mission capability and sustained combat presence in denied waters with a focus on greater speed, stealth, and horizontal payloads and salvo rates. This Office Manager will be on a dynamic team providing high-level direct support to the Director and Deputy Director of PMS 351.
In this role you will:
- Maintain calendar and schedule of commitments and remind senior leadership of obligations.
- Coordinate travel and prepares travel documentation in DTS to include expense reports.
- Coordinate visit requests for PMS 351 staff via DISS.
- Format letters per the Navy Correspondence Manual and route them to the DPM and PM
- Maintain Memo Serial Number Log
- Maintain up-to-date personnel contact lists, muster list, emergency contacts, and OSS door and office access list
- Execute, track and manage all onboarding tasks for all new personnel reporting to PMS 351.
- Track action items and ensure they are complete on time and meets leadership expectation.
- Develop and implements office and organizational administrative policies and procedures including but not limited to development and refinement of SOPs.
- Advise managers and staff on proper company procedures and policies.
- Attend meetings and prepare notes and/or meeting minutes.
- Organize social events as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Secret Clearance is required for consideration.
- High School diploma with a minimum of 2 to 4 years related experience but an associate's degree is desirable.
- Team-oriented focus with outstanding customer service experience.
- Strong analytical skills along with discretion in performing specified work requirements.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment accepting emergent tasking with little to no supervision and/or direction.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively, to build and sustain working relationships with a vast team of diverse professionals.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications to include MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and with sufficient knowledge, present projects to senior management.
- Extensive knowledge in preparing, processing, and maintaining complex paperwork and forms.
- Dependability in safeguarding business sensitive information, tracking and delivering time constraint and recurrent tasks using highly sensitive records, information and data received on a constant basis.
- Previous experience providing administrative support to senior/executive level managers is a plus.
- Experience supporting a Navy acquisition program office is preferred.
- Experience in the Navy as a Sailor is a plus!
- 10% travel is required.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $81,153.39 to $131,873.27; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
