Staff Accountant

We are offering a role for a Staff Accountant in our Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry located in Cedar Park, Texas. The successful candidate will be integral to our Finance and Accounting Department, providing critical support through various general accounting functions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular analysis and review of inventory accounts
- Assist in the month-end closing process, which includes the preparation of journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Carry out standard and custom analyses as required
- Distribute month-end reports
- Support field personnel with accounting matters
- Calculate and remit Sales & Use Tax
- File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
- Provide audit support and schedules when requested
- Participate in special projects and perform other accounting functions as necessary
- Carry out SOX compliance test work
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance
- Ability to prepare Journal Entries
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries
- Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
- Proficiency in financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
