Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine

Practice Description:

Fairview is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our primary care (adults only) practice at M Health Fairview Clinics – Oxboro located in Bloomington, Minnesota. Join our thriving multi-specialty practice which has been in the community for over 30 years.

Practice Details:

• 12 provider primary care practice which includes 8 Internal Medicine Physicians, 1 Internal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider and 3 Pediatricians.
• Specialists in pediatrics, derm, mental health, midwifery, ob/gyn and podiatry.
• On-site lab services, x-ray, mammography, bone densitometry.
• On-site M Health Farivew Pharmacy, M Health Fairview Rehab Services and M Health Fairview Urgent Care.
• - Patient encounters average 18-22 patients per day.
• Virtual care offered and encouraged via video, telephone, and through EMR.
• 34 patient contact hours per week for full time - flexible schedule.
• As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Income Details:

• Initial 2 year salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program rewarding production, quality and patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• BC/BE through NCCPA
• Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privilege

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of PA experience
