Drupal Developer
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Ensure website security and optimal performance.
Work with stakeholders and team members to clarify requirements and implement detailed designs as needed.
Maintain solution documentation.
Support ongoing maintenance and updates of Drupal sites, troubleshoot issues, and apply security and functionality patches.
Qualifications & Expertise:
Experience with Drupal theming and module development
5+ years of hands-on web development experience (Drupal 7/8/9 experience)
Strong understanding of web development principles and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Experience with District resources, including OCTO policies and technology stack
Strong documentation skills
Experience with version control systems, such as Git

Strong analytical, interpersonal, written/verbal
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
SkillBachelors in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
Experience solving business and technical problems independently, creating innovative solutions
Experience with Drupal CMS (site building, theme development, content modeling, and site governance)
Communication skills, both written and spoken, and business-level English are mandatory.
Knowledge of information technology and functional design of information systems.
Experience with CSS, MySQL, HTML, jQuery, and JavaScript
Experience in website performance monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Google Analytics.
Experience with PHPExperience with UI/UX Optimization, Improving usability, accessibility, and user experience.
Experience with content management and editing of content for websites, including expertise with plain language principles and website audits.
Understanding of web standards and best practices, including Section 508 compliance
