We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the industry of finance, based in Los Angeles, California. The chosen candidate will operate in a remote environment, handling a variety of tasks related to customer service, data entry, and basic accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt resolution
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and reports
  • Process invoices and manage account receivables (AR)
  • Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and ensure timely payments
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status
  • Use Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
  • Support the finance team with billing-related tasks
  • Maintain and update customer records regularly. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial statements and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), effectively managing outgoing payments and invoices.
  • Skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), adept at tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues.
  • Familiarity with Billing procedures, capable of preparing invoices and financial statements.
  • Proficient in Data Entry, demonstrating high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all invoices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, able to effectively utilize formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions.
  • Proficiency in Oracle, capable of maintaining and managing financial databases.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, demonstrating an understanding of its accounting and bookkeeping features.
  • Familiarity with SAP, capable of handling various financial operations and reporting tasks.
