Position Summary:

Position Summary

Position requires individual to train team members, monitor all essential functions for all current employees and, serve as a working lead covering positions in Guest Services.

Work schedule 9:30 am-6:00 pm and some weekends 8 am - 1 pm. Location: 1400 S Orange Ave Orlando Health Cancer Institute Guest Services*

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
  • As a self-motivated Team Member, the individual must adhere to all Standards of Behavior, exhibit excellent customer service
skills, and capable of functioning and working in a cohesive team environment.
  • Position requires individual to adhere to and train team members to communicate with patients, visitors and customers using
appropriate designated scripting and engagement techniques.
  • To achieve a Superior Facility Image, this individual is responsible for conducting required one-on-one training using approved techniques, procedures and educational materials in the coaching process.
  • Facilitates staffing and maintains adequate converge of all Guest Services/ Volunteer Services areas.
  • Coordinates constant flow of information to the Guest Services/ Volunteer Services staff including facility updates and procedure
and policy changes ensuring the team has the most up to date information in order to best serve the guest.
  • This position monitors all essential functions for all current employees in various areas by properly reviewing the patient
experience skills.
  • Designated task may include identifying patient and non-patient areas that need attention prior to them becoming complaints or
problems.
  • Is directly involved in being the project team leader utilizing necessary equipment in the completion of task and assignments.
  • Regular duties include normal supervisory duties in the absence of a supervisor, this position will be responsible for monitoring
team member productivity and patient throughput activities following prescribed cleaning systems while actively using designated technological computer systems.
  • Serves as a working lead rotating weekends Leader on Duty, covering positions as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal,
state and local standards.
  • Works closely with Volunteer Services team to plan orientation, training and recognition.
  • Attends meetings related to developing their programs.
  • Assigns volunteers to service areas.
  • Conducts Orientation and specific service training.
  • Coach team members to achieve and sustain performance.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Risk Management and department managers and establishes relationships to assist with issues they may receive.
  • Establishes priorities within the function to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deals directly with large amounts of sensitive and confidential information.
  • May serve on committees to represent the department.
  • Ensures the provision of high quality, efficient and cost-effective services, and their coordination.

Qualifications:

Education/Training

Associate degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Management, or related field.
Two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the associate degree (in addition to the requirements listed in

the Experience section)
