As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales department at our Honda dealership. Your primary objective will be to motivate, mentor, inspire team success and lead our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other departments to foster a cohesive and customer-centric dealership environment.
You must be accountability driven, have great critical thinking skills and be able to encourage the growth and development of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor sales performance and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure proper stocking levels to meet customer demand.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance and service, to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive sales management, preferably within the Chevrolet brand.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
