About the job
The Finance team is looking for a Finance Business Partner who will collaborate closely with executive and business leadership providing them with financial planning, reporting, analysis, actionable insights, and strategic decision support to help them run the business.This role supports the successful implementation of associated initiatives. It also ensures the alignment and optimization of business and financial goals, strategies, plans, policies, processes and controls across the organization.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Operate as a trusted advisor to, and works closely with, business executive leadership as an extended member of their leadership team.
- Assist the development of and execution of financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Ensure ongoing awareness & alignment between all functions of the Finance division and the wider business in the design, development and operation of plans, policies, systems, processes and controls.
- Leverage competitive information, industry trends, customer metrics and market dynamics to inform company and divisional targets, strategies and plans.
- Manage the delivery of divisional budgets and forecasts and key performance indicators (KPI) to measure success. Monitors performance to ensure results progress to plan and to improve the ongoing accuracy of budget and forecast submissions.
- Deliver regular financial management reporting and reviews KPIs, performance and external data to provide insights on divisional and company-wide performance and highlight trends, risks, issues and opportunities to executive leadership.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and investigations to provide actionable recommendations to improve growth, profitability, efficiency, productivity, financial control and mitigate risk.
- Leverage financial models, simulates scenarios and provides data driven insights and recommendations to support decisions, including, but not limited to, investment analysis, pricing strategies, revenue optimization and resource allocation.
- Provide decision support on deals and bids, ensuring deal margin and risk is managed and that deals are shaped and classified in line with ASC 606 and internal policy.
- Support engagement with prospects, suppliers and customers to promote SAS and assist negotiations.
- Formulate new financial policies, processes and controls in partnership with business leadership and ensures their effective implementation.
- Partner closely with other business support divisions to optimize advisory and support services, policy, and process development for front line business divisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a large international publicly owned organization in a Business Partnering or Financial Planning & Analysis capacity.
- An established track record as a business partner to senior (including C-suite) leadership
- Strong relationship management, influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across levels, function and geographies
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements above.

- MBA or CPA certification
- Proven ability to positively impact financial business performance for supported functions as a Finance Business Partner
- Experience as a Business Partner within a large multinational software and/or services organization
- Able to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders and C-Suite
- Proven cross functional project leadership experience.
- Previous knowledge and experience applying ASC 606 standard
- Advanced Financial Analysis and a CFO mindset
- Experience with large international publicly owned organization in commercial Finance or Business partnering capacity
- Advanced knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles – standards, financial reporting and revenue recognition specific to the technology industry. Knowledge of technology sector, emerging trends and of the competitive landscape.
