Project Manager (Non-IT) - Expert

We are in search of a Project Manager (Non-IT) - Expert to join our Boston, Massachusetts-based team. In this role, you will provide advice and recommendations on project management processes, standards, and strategies, oversee the analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge, and manage project interdependencies and handoffs.

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the acquisition, analysis, and dissemination of subject matter knowledge.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on project management processes, standards, and strategies.
  • Conduct and review detailed analyses of costs/benefits risks workflow.
  • Work in a consultative capacity to provide technical and business knowledge to clients.
  • Develop position statements on complex subject matter questions.
  • Manage project interdependencies and handoffs and establish project plans.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines and resolve major issues.
  • Participate in the strategic buildout of Prime Services Equity Swap platform.
  • Handle programme management tasks, including running workstream meetings.
  • Undertake project organisation tasks, such as tracking and managing actions, risks, and issues.
  • Develop governance materials and reporting.
Skills:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA
  • Background in finance and knowledge of equity capital and project planning
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing relationships with clients
  • Ability to handle materials and design workflows
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop methods for efficient work processes
  • Ability to provide training and guidance to team members. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in project management and project planning
  • Knowledge of finance and possession of CPA or MBA qualifications
  • Ability to conduct data analysis and competitor analysis
  • Experience in handling materials and understanding design specifications
  • Proficient in using JIRA for project management
  • Proven track record in delivering presentations and conducting training sessions
  • Familiarity with 'About Time' project management software
  • Understanding of benefit functions and ability to work with suppliers
  • Experience in onsite project management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to liaison with different stakeholders and manage project resources effectively.
