Title: Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Location: Remote/Home Office

We are searching for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy and execution for our Network Observability solutions of our Riverbed Observability portfolio. The Riverbed Network Observability solutions make it easy for companies to monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze what’s happening across their hybrid network environment.

The Network Observability portfolio is a core business area for Riverbed. You will contribute to portfolio-wide product launches and help create broader stories focused on Enterprise/B2B business challenges. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for positioning, messaging and content creation to support launches and campaigns that include your areas of portfolio ownership.
You will understand the market landscape, including AIOps, define/refine target personas for both business and technical decision makers, and provide content to efficiently drive customers through their full journey with Riverbed Network Observability solutions.

In this role you will partner closely with Product Management, Sales/Partner Enablement, Technical Evangelists, Brand, and Campaigns teams.

What you will do:

  • Develop differentiated product positioning by understanding customer use cases/needs/desired outcomes, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces for growing the base and securing new logos.
  • Plan and execute product launches with related sales enablement to cross-functional teams (spanning Product Management, Marketing, Solutions, Support, Service, Sales, Channels).
  • Drive Analyst briefings and inquiries to maintain leadership position.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand & support ongoing enablement and maximize impact of messaging for an enterprise audience
  • Build compelling content in the form of presentations, battle cards, white papers, messaging, and competitive positioning, etc. that will be used by direct sales and channel for positioning Riverbed Network Observability to prospects and customers.
  • In support of account-based marketing, develop messaging, positioning, sales, and customer-facing collateral for the portfolio
  • Develop and own strategy for replicating successes for the enterprise audience, including both executive and technical decision makers in coordination with Sales and Enablement team.
  • Analyze competitive offering and develop positions for our differentiation.
  • Be a strong advocate and spokesperson for Riverbed in blogs, webinars, industry forums, AR/PR activities, etc.

What makes you an ideal candidate:

  • Multiple years of product marketing experience in the B2B space. Preferably experience working in the Infrastructure Monitoring, Network Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, AIOps and/or other IT performance monitoring space.
  • Passionate storyteller who can articulate a compelling vision both verbally and in writing
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to simplify technical content into easy-to-understand concepts and value propositions.
  • Self-starter who can identify gaps and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and energetically pursue them to completion.
  • Team player with customer-first mentality who can work across an organization to build a plan, get alignment, and execute it
  • Driven leader who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and who can operate independently to build out new programs and initiatives.
  • Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, highly effective global team with willingness to travel up to 15%
