About the role:

We’re looking for leaders with an interest and background in building successful products for our users and customers.Reporting to the VP of Engineering you will lead a newly formed software development team working closely with our product organization to define and ship amazing experiences for our customers and users.
You will:
- Recruit, hire and scale our engineering team
- Mentor and grow members on your team
- Work closely with our product team to design new features, manage scope, complexity and make trade-offs based on business needs
- Iterate quickly on successful products
- Evolve and improve your team’s processes and ensure things are running smoothly
- Debug production issues
- Accountable for making sure features are built and designed in a scalable and maintainable way that fits into our larger architecture.
Requirements:
- Two years of direct engineering management experience
- Experience building products at a startup
- Familiar with Agile processes
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- Full stack experience building from APIs to front-end
- Front end Javascript experience
Nice to have:
- React, Node.js, Express
- Experience with hosting in a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience in social media / user acquisition
