Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Do you have a background in powered electronics with a lean toward software engineering? If so, apply today! You will collaborate with a team of four Hardware and Software engineers to assist with an ongoing project. You are responsible for designing and developing embedded software for power electronics systems,particularly in embedded systems and real-time control applications.
This position requires you to be in office once a month in St Petersburg Florida.

salary: $55 - 85 per hour

responsibilities:- Design, develop, and validate embedded software and control algorithms for power electronics applications, including real-time control, power conversion, and motor control systems.
- Develop, debug, and optimize software for embedded systems using C/C++ and other relevant programming languages.
- Work on DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and microcontroller programming, control algorithm designing, simulation and coding, embedded system integration, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, UART).
- Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and innovative software solutions that meet all technical and customer requirements.
- Manage the software development lifecycle, including design documentation, software testing, and functional verification.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and software architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Address and resolve complex technical challenges in embedded software while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- C++ (5 years of experience is preferred)
- CAN (5 years of experience is preferred)
- Spi (5 years of experience is preferred)
- UART (5 years of experience is preferred)
- Embedded Software Testing
