Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Manager to help manage our quality system and oversee day-to-day quality management activities. This defined role includes responsibilities such as overseeing the inspection department and inspectors, representing the quality department in company meetings, and serving as a liaison with customers to address quality-related issues.

The Quality Manager will have support from several direct reports, including two inspectors and two quality engineers, with plans to hire an additional inspector within the next three months. With strong management support for the quality process, you will have the opportunity and resources to build and enhance the quality framework as you see fit.

The Successful Applicant

Quality Manager Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong manufacturing background to act as a technical leader in the inspection process and analyze manufacturing methods.
  • Technical expertise in manufacturing and inspection methods to effectively communicate with and gain respect from colleagues.

Experience Required:

  • 10 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment utilizing an ISO-based quality system.
  • 8-10 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience with CAD is a plus.
