Enhanced Community Support Services (ECSS) program
The ECSS program is for adults being released from state psychiatric hospitals. ECSS offers a higher level of support and case management services for adults living in Bergen County with 24-hour on-call support.

Pay: $19 to $22 / hr – depends upon education / experience

Day shift Monday through Friday
Job Summary
Contributes to the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of a consumer’s individualized habilitation plans. This individual will act as the Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Therapeutic rehabilitative skill development
- Implementation of Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) principles and interventions
- Coordinating and managing services, both mental health and physical health
- Crisis intervention, as needed
- Provision/coordination of services aimed at active rehabilitation and support services to achieve restoration of functioning and the achievement of community integration
- Maintaining own appointment schedule and meeting work productivity requirements
- Other duties as assigned by management staff
- Productivity requirement of 60% face-to-face contact weekly
- Must be able to operate an agency vehicle and maintain a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance provider
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the helping professions including social work, counseling, psychiatric rehabilitation or psychology. Bachelor’s degrees in a field other than a helping profession shall have a minimum of 2 years’ professional experience working in a community based behavioral health setting
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) may be substituted for one year of experience
