Controller

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Controller in Windsor, New Jersey. This role primarily operates within the manufacturing industry, focusing on executing crucial accounting functions. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring the individual to manage tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivable, handling journal entries, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting operations
• Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable process
• Regularly prepare journal entries for accurate record keeping
• Carry out month end close procedures efficiently
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports as required
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
• Maintain accurate records of all customer credit information
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in adherence to industry standards
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
