Corporate Controller (Luv)

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia, for a Corporate to join our team. In this role, you will function as a Controller in our organization, where you will be responsible for Managing the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure regular account reconciliation to completion
• Manages the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations and various other account analyses.
• Performs analytical review of financial information from the account level to the financial statement level to ensure the information is reliable, accurate and properly stated. Ensures adherence to GAAP. Coordinates audit requests and requirements as they relate to accounting operations.
• Supports other departments regarding accounting and reporting requirements, as needed.
• Reporting to the CFO, the Controller is responsible for leading the overall accounting function including the financial close process, financial statement reconciliation process, accounting for fixed assets, real estate leases, taxes and payroll. The Controller also develops policies and procedures for accounting best practices and manages the adherence to those accounting policies. • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position
• Possess strong skills in Month End Close procedures
• Ability to prepare and present Financial Reports with accuracy and timeliness
• Experience in managing financial consolidations is essential
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required, advanced degree preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Proficiency in using financial software and databases
• Must have a good understanding of accounting standards and regulations
