LOCATION: Cambridge, MA
PAY RATE: $36-40/hour

Job Details:

Summary:
- Manage ticket queues and provide efficient support to onsite staff.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016+ and desktop operating systems/applications.
- Perform email administration, including user management, account setup, password resets, and troubleshooting profile and permission issues.
- Troubleshoot system and network alerts from monitoring tools.
- Administer virtualization environments, including virtual machine clusters, resource allocation, and architecture design.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, with expertise in Windows and Mobile OS issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot Remote Desktop Services, VPN (SSL/IPSec), and Office 365 products using GUI and PowerShell.
- Handle patch management, vulnerability assessment, and Linux system configuration.
- Implement and manage backup solutions and troubleshoot remote access tools like RDP.
- Maintain core network components (routers, switches, firewalls) and update technical documentation.
- Support and troubleshoot A/V equipment and systems.
- Mentor technicians and collaborate on IT system designs and solutions.
- Conduct root cause analyses to resolve complex technical issues and prevent recurrence.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or 8 10+ years of equivalent education/experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
Desired Skills:
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Linux+, MS-900/AZ-900.
- Experience in fast-paced environments, such as MSPs, is a plus.
