Speech Language Pathologist

Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and make a positive impact on students.

This position is school-based and will be 3-4 days a week. The rate for this position is $65-$70 per hour.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
Create and implement personalized treatment plans
Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress

Requirements

A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state licensure or certification as a speech-language pathologist
Prior experience in diagnosing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
Knowledge of assessment and diagnostic techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Proficiency in utilizing specialized software and technology related to speech-language pathology

Benefits

This position runs until the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Benefits are unfortunately not included with this position.

$65-$70 per hour
