Assembly Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Our Client in the leading industry for versatile heat treatment systems and advanced process technology in the Montgomery County area is looking to fill a role for a Assembly Mechanic.

This role will train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift.

• Coordinates all activities required to effectively lay out work, set-up appropriate machines or equipment to meet or exceed assembly demands and customer requirements per design specifications and published schedules.
• Efficiently utilizes resources to minimize scrap, materials, and labor.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Operate power tools and equipment such as band saw, table saw, manual hand brake, drill, grinder, etc.
• Handle and work with different types of material: felt insulation, ceramic, graphite, carbon fiber, molybdenum, stainless steel, carbon steel, etc.
• Document work process, issues, and usage of material or excess material/parts.
• Communicate with team leader and supervisor in all forms of communication.
• Organize work area and keep it clean and safe daily.
• Work with minimal supervision to accurately accomplish any given task.
