NEW YORK, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES) - An affluent family in Tribeca is seeking an experienced, energetic, and proactive FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to care for their two children: a 4-year-old girl and an 11-month-old boy. The family is looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years of professional nanny experience who can provide a loving, structured, and engaging environment for the children.
This position is Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 8 PM, with occasional flexibility for date nights and full-day care when school is closed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable traveling with the family on two trips per year (typically one week each) and be open to weekend travel to their property in New Jersey during the summer.
Responsibilities for the role include engaging the children in educational activities, supporting early childhood development (teaching numbers, colors, alphabet, etc.), and ensuring a no-screen environment. The nanny will be responsible for picking up the 4-year-old from preschool, organizing after-school activities, and preparing healthy meals and snacks for both children.Other duties include light cleaning, organizing child-related items, running errands, and occasional swimming with the children. While a driver’s license is not required, it is considered a plus, and the family will reimburse gas and mileage if driving is involved.
The nanny must also be fully vaccinated, including TDAP, flu, and COVID vaccines.
The family lives in a vibrant and family-friendly neighborhood in Tribeca, with parks, libraries, and plenty of children's activities within walking distance. Their 4-year-old daughter is independent, smart, and funny, while their 11-month-old son is easygoing and full of laughter.The family is seeking a nanny who is highly organized, energetic, meticulous, and a good communicator. Fluency in English is required, and a second language (Spanish or Mandarin) is a plus.

Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
