Billing Clerk

We are offering a contract for a Billing Clerk position in SCOTIA, New York. You'll be part of a team that focuses on the efficient management of invoicing and accounts receivable in the industry. This role is vital to maintain the smooth operation of financial activities within our workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of invoices.
• Be responsible for the creation and management of journal entries.
• Handle the task of reporting, including month-end reporting and accounting duties.
• Manage all aspects of accounts receivable.
• Ensure all customer records are updated and maintained properly. • Demonstrated experience in a Billing Clerk role or similar accounting position
• Proficiency in billing procedures
• Solid understanding of and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Excellent knowledge of office productivity software (particularly spreadsheet software) and data entry software
• Good understanding of relevant laws and best practices
• Ability to work meticulously and with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong numerical skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in accounting or relevant field is a plus.
