Property Accountant

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Property Accountant for a boutique Real Estate firm in Westchester County. Great culture, hybrid schedule, stability. Must have property accounting experience (commercial pfd).

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounting for 20-30 entities from inception to completion.
• Process and maintain accurate records of customer credit applications.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth accounting process.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Get exposure and training from senior accounting personnel.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.
• Contribute to a positive, drama-free work environment.
• Work closely with the Controller and Accounting Supervisor.
• The applicant should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of experience in property accounting or real estate accounting is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
• Familiarity with property management software, such as Yardi is preferred.
