Job Description

The team is responsible for legal entity controllership of multiple entities, including the U.S. holding company and a banking subsidiary and a leasing subsidiary, all under CFO organization. The team's deliverables include audited financial statements, statutory reports, head-office reports and management reports.

Summary:

The position is primarily responsible for the financial reporting of banking and leasing subsidiaries. You will lead daily reporting, monthly closing, quarterly head office reporting and annual report production.

Additionally, you will be involved for system automation, workflow enhancements and other ad-hoc projects.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead the production of assigned reports accurately and timely, in accordance with US GAAP and Head Office requirements.
  • Manage the team members by providing the necessary guidance and advice.
  • Support maintenance of strong internal control in the team for sound practice and meet the expectations of management, internal/external auditors and examiners.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects within the finance area.
  • Interact with management and auditors regarding inquiries and surveys.
  • Address other relevant issues that may arise on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting or related areas.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidate will have CPA and financial reporting experience at another bank/ FS firm* Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting or related areas.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
