Job Summary:
The Residential Plumber will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in residential homes. This includes working on water, heating, and gas systems to ensure they are safe, efficient, and up to code. Flexible schedule & no sales!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools.
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for water supply, heating, and gas distribution.
- Inspect and test piping systems and fixtures using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, or other methods to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
- Repair and replace defective pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and building codes.
- Collaborate with other Electrical professionals to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in pipefitting or plumbing preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential Plumber preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Skilled in using pipefitting tools and equipment, including hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certification in specific piping systems or welding is a plus.
