Staff Accountant

We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Staff Accountant for our client in the Property Management industry.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all general ledger entries, AR/AP transactions, monthly accruals.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data.
• Analyze accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collection.
• Monitor and analyze monthly P& L reports for the preparation of comprehensive financial reports.
• Utilize Yardi extensively to record all necessary GL entries and other AP/AR transactions.
• Liaise with property managers to streamline Accounts Payable and Receivables accuracy.
• Employ strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting in maintaining financial systems.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong expertise in using Yardi property management software is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in the property management industry is a plus.
