Responsibilities:

Summary of the position:

The Medical Assistant participates in the delivery of excellent family practice and pediatric care in an ambulatory clinic setting with an emphasis on the prevention of disease; preparation of the patient for examination and/or procedures; administers medications under direction of provider; performs in office lab procedures and phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients; sterilizes instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
This will include actively participating and supporting primary clinical teams with these efforts. This position is full-time and located in Las Vegas, NV. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off and paid holidays.

Requirements of the position:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Certification of completion of Medical Assistant program, or equivalent experience
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Experience in a family practice or pediatrics clinic preferred
