Pediatric School Nurse Practitioner - NJSCHRN

• Pay: Total stipend of $3,000 weekly / $13,000 monthly

Performance Responsibilities:

• Perform student health assessments, including physical exams and screenings required by law.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans for students with ongoing health issues.
• Conduct health education programs to encourage healthy living and prevent illness in the school environment.
• Act as the first responder to medical emergencies, providing initial care and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
• Communicate regularly with families to discuss medical concerns, treatment plans, and progress updates.
• Maintain detailed health records, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in school committees related to student health and safety.
