We are in search of a diligent Administrative Assistant to be a part of our team situated in Castroville, California. The role involves handling documents, filing, working with excel spreadsheets, and supporting the engineering department. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle and organize various documents efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate filing and tracking of outstanding documents.
  • Responsible for data entry tasks, predominantly working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Offer support to the engineering department and assist in their administrative tasks.
  • Answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and manage correspondence via email.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for various tasks.
  • Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.
  • Independently monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as required. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Data Entry
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive customer experience
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Excellent email correspondence skills
  • Experience in scheduling appointments effectively
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work as required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is desirable.
