Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care - CNALTC24-15642

Shift: Afternoon Shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Job Description:

• As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility, you will provide essential care and assistance to residents/patients. Under the supervision of the Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), or Director of Nursing (DON), the CNA is responsible for a group of residents during their shift. You will work to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being while adhering to the facility's policies and standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Observe and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff, ensuring proper documentation of care.
• Collaborate with other nursing assistants and healthcare staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, following facility policies and adhering to JCAHO standards where applicable.
• Practice and promote the Villa Way of Kindness, focusing on Exceptional Care, Passionate Services, and Unexpected Luxury in resident interactions.

Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long Term Care (LTC) – Required.
• Travel experience – Preferred.

Certifications:

• Current CNA license – Required.
• Covid Vaccine – Required (Medical & Religious exemptions may be accepted on a case-by-case basis).

• Ability to handle high-paced, stressful environments.
