Tax Preparer

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Pleasanton, California. This role lies within the accounting industry and involves the preparation and filing of individual tax returns. Responsibilities:

• Utilize tax software, to process individual tax returns efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations and apply this understanding in the preparation of tax returns.
• Engage in regular communication with clients to collect necessary information for tax preparation.
• Provide tax-related advice to clients, drawing from a broad knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ensure the accurate and prompt filing of individual income tax returns.
• Manage data entry tasks and maintain accounting functions accurately.
• Handle varying levels of tax return complexity, ranging from rental property returns to business-related returns.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Understand and be able to perform Accounting Functions
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Knowledgeable in using Lacerte Tax Software
• Ability to handle Individual Tax Returns
• Experience in preparing Tax Returns
• Deep understanding of individual tax laws and regulations
