1st Shift CNC Machinist

Our client in Carnegie is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machinist

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including Lathes, Mills, and Manual Machines, to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine necessary machine setups and programming requirements.
• Load raw materials into the machines, adjust machine settings, and monitor the production process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Read and interpret G-Code programming to perform basic edits and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any discrepancies or improvements in the machining process.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and report any malfunctions or abnormalities.
