Director of Corporate Finance and Risk Management – Managment Group

Our Managment Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Risk Management and Corporate Finance to oversee and manage financial operations, risk management, and compliance for our diverse portfolio of entities. This leadership role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage banking relationships for 25 entities, coordinating with bankers, treasury management, and private wealth teams.
  • Support financing activities such as mortgages, floor plans, letters of credit, and lines of credit.
  • Approve checks, wires, and ACH transactions while serving as a backup signer as needed.
  • Oversee equity accounts, positive pay systems, and annual renewals of financial registrations (e.g., GMEI).
  • Assist in negotiating and securing insurance coverage, garage keepers, property, liability, workers' compensation, and cyber policies.
  • Collaborate with Risk Managers to maintain compliance with fleet and demo insurance policies.
  • Provide guidance on legal matters, including claims and employment-related issues.
  • Participate in annual property tax assessments, including reviewing appraisals and coordinating protests when necessary.
  • Manage property lease agreements, including renewals and payment schedules.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reviews with CPA firms and owners, focusing on banking, investments, and trust accounts.
  • Work with accounting teams on tax preparation, financial statements, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for ownership changes, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate floor plan audits and offshore account reviews.
  • Update operational materials such as employee handbooks, safety protocols, and compliance policies.
  • Review daily transactions for accuracy and compliance across entities.
  • Support documentation and processes related to organizational agreements and buy-sell transactions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in finance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of banking, insurance, and compliance practices.
  • Accounting Degree Prefered.
